My baby is cold when wearing the Sleep Bag

We strongly recommend touching your child at the back of their neck or on their stomach while sleeping to gauge their temperature and level of comfort. Hands and feet are not strong indicators of core body temperature. If you feel that your child is cool to the touch, it may be best to try a warmer option underneath the sleep bag at bedtime.

Although every child is different, as a general rule, a child may need only one more layer of clothing than an adult at the same room temperature. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends dressing baby lightly for sleep and setting the room temperature in a range that is comfortable for a lightly clothed adult. The dressing guideline we provide is only a suggestion because naturally, every baby is different. You may need to alter your child's undergarments to see what allows for maximum comfort. Natural breathable fabrics such as merino wool, linen, cotton, or bamboo work best under Woolino 4 season sleep bags. We do not recommend polyester or micro-fleece sleepwear under the sleep bag, as these materials are not breathable.
